A Is For Autumn

September 6, 2016
and Alison DiLaurentis is dead... Right?

I hate fall fashion. Blasphemous, I know, but I wear cardigans because I'm cold, not because they're trendy, and something about the 1970s color scheme just doesn't appeal to me. (Please, leave the brown and orange in your wood-panelled basement). Not to mention the fact that I ditched scarves about as quickly as I got into them, and I wouldn't be caught dead wearing leggings. Of course, I have never been one to follow the rules when it comes to fashion. I'll wear white after labor day if I want to, and no matter how much people seem to like those corduroy, a-line skirts with the buttons down the front, I will never own one. So, what am I planning to wear this autumn?
  1. Over-the-knee Boots: I recently purchased a pair of black, heeled, over-the-knee boots, and I can't wait for their debut. I usually go for knee-high socks, so they will be a nice change of pace.
  2. Jumpsuits: Admittedly, I only own one jumpsuit at this point in time, but it's not for lack of want.
  3. Collars: I tried to narrow this down, but I've never met a collared shirt I didn't like. In particular, I'd like to give a shoutout to those short-sleeved sweaters that are super cute but can only be worn like, two weeks out of the year. So pretty much Stacey Bendet's entire fall collection. (Someone get me the Vanetta Pintuck Shirt).
P.S. I feel silly pretending I know anything about anything, and the pictures have absolutely nothing to do with this post, except maybe the fact that I refuse to say goodbye to my summer wardrobe. It's still 90 degrees in Georgia, anyway.
